Errors installing smwa-6qmr5-linux.zip on SuSE 11 64 bit

Hi,

I am trying to install the siteminder webagent smwa-6qmr5-linux.zip on my SuSE 11 64 bit to support legacy applications and i am seeing the following errors.

====

I have verified that the libraries reported missing in the error messages are actually present in the server (glibc32 rpm is already present in the server) and the corresponding path is included in the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variables.

Looking at the age old trick, i tried fooling the script to ignore the LD_KERNEL_ASSUME variable by commenting it out, but no use. i still get this error. As usual, CA site has no information on this and i am still trying to figure out how to fix this.

Any ideas / Suggestions ??

According to the platform support matrix, the only supported web agent on SUSE 11 is QMR6 CR2 or higher.  In addition, it is only supported for IBM HTTP Server 7.0.

So, even if you can get this working I would not recommend it.  You will not be able to get support from CA on this configuration which is a significant production risk.
