We currently use Siteminder r7 on IHS servers forwarding request to Websphere 7.0.  We have tried to implement logout features that work using other web frameworks.  Using iceFaces it seams that we get automatically re-login every time.

Daniel, It's not 100% clear from your message what you are asking. What problem are you trying to solve and what issues are you having? Also, there is no SiteMinder r7. Do you mean SiteMinder 6 or r12?

We are trying to achieve a logout, ending both the Websphere as well as the Siteminder Session. We seem to be able to end the Websphere session but not the Siteminder. Our current implementation that works with other Web frameworks does not seem to work with Icefaces.

To logout of SiteMinder, you configure the LogoutURI parameter in the web agent configuration object. Set it to the URI (not the URL) of the resource a user goes to when they click the logout link. So, for example, set the logoutURI to "/logout.html". You can set this to be the same URI used to log out of websphere. The agent will then kill the SiteMinder session when that resource is accessed.
