Why do some config variables not work in WebAgent.conf
You may notice that not all CA SiteMinder WebAgent configuration objects work in a WebAgent.conf. In general, the ones that do work have mostly to do with the agent starting up.
Fix #78560 in CR24 states the following:
"Agent Configuration Objects variables and values will not longer be able to be specified in the webagent.conf file. A subset of these values will still be allowed. The values that are still allowed to specified are: HostConfigFile, AgentConfigObject, EnableWebAgent, ServerPath, LocalConfigFile, EnableIntroscopeAgentSupport and LoadPlugin.”
Therefore, all the other settings need to go in localconfig.conf, and you will want to make sure "allowlocalconfig" is set to "YES" in your Agent Configuration Object. Also, check that "localconfigfile" is set to the a valid path pointing to the localconfig.conf.
