Has anyone tried to install the SiteMinder R12.0 SP2 Web Agent on Windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5 (64 bit) ?  I know it is scheduled to be officially "certified" in August but I tried it anyway.  It…Continue

It looks like IIS 7.5 on 2008 R2 (64 bit) is now officially supported with the recent release of R12.0 SP2 CR1. One caveat is to follow the manual configuration steps (similar to what I figured out on my own above): From CA Support: "…

Our users are members of business partners (not within our intranet/enterprise). They are using our web based portal applications which are protected by Siteminder. They also need to access applications located on our IBM Sysetm i servers using IBM…

Hi Jim, Can you clarify a little what you are trying to do? When the user logs in to the IIS based portal are they going through the web to the IBM System i or are they accessing it a different way? Thanks, Todd

SSO with IBM System i

I'm looking for an SSO solution for our IIS based portal protected by SiteMinder and an IBM System i.  We want to have our users log in to SiteMinder and then be able to access their System i account without having to do another login.  I understand that System i supports Kerberos and there is some support for Kerberos within Siteminder.  Has anyone been able to leverage this?  Is the Federated Security Services option of Siteminder any help here?Any other suggestions would be…See More

If you are planning on using this in a production environment, I would definitely fall back to a supported environment. Even if you can get it to work on IIS 7.5, if you run into a problem you will have to reproduce it on a supported environment…

Does Siteminder R12.0 SP2 Web Agent work with Windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5?

Has anyone tried to install the SiteMinder R12.0 SP2 Web Agent on Windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5 (64 bit) ?  I know it is scheduled to be officially "certified" in August but I tried it anyway.  It installed without any errors.  But then I ran into some ACL security issues.  I was able to resolve them however now I'm getting an HTTP 500 error with every request whether the resource is protected or not.  The web agent trace is giving the following error:  ProcessResource][Plugins did not collect…See More
