I recommend running through the Linux agent preparation steps on page 20 of the agent installation guide. That has the required libraries listed. Also, in the readme included with the agent there is additional information on which installer to use,…

Registration Failed on Linux

One of our customer is facing a problem while trying to register with the policy server. When tried from the console mode he gets the following error:Registration failed: Unknown error -117When he runs smreghost he gets segmentation fault. Not sure if some libraries are missing. Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes it is, both IIS and agent are on 64bit

It's hard to say for sure. Are you sure you are using the 64 bit agent installer? Todd

Hi, Have you seen this blog post: http://www.coreblox.com/blog/2009/03/troubleshooting-siteminder-on-windows-2008-and-iis-7/ Maybe run through the steps there to see if that resolves the issue. Todd

Issue: Siteminder Installation on IIS7.0/Win 2008

One of my customer is facing with siteminder installation on 64bit Windows 2008 w/IIS 7 on a VSI node. The error in the form of alert that reads out something like this:Unable to create file:%SystemDrive%\inetpub\wwwroot\web.configFirst look on this error, what it appears to me is something to do with the permission, but customer has confirmed that there is nothing wrong with permission at all.Please assist, I have also attached the installation logsSee More
